Everyone at the home has very fond memories of Sue and she will be sadly missed.

During her time at Mallard Court, Sue has continued to work to the best of her ability as a part of the Mallard Court family.

Not only was Sue a lovely member of the housekeeping team, but would go out of her way to care for our residents too, often coming in to work early so she can help over breakfast, as well as completing her own tasks.

Sue said: “Mallard Court is like a family to me and though I’m looking forward to retirement, I’m really going to miss everyone here so much!”

Michelle Galtress, deputy general manager at Mallard Court, said: “Sue is one of those people who was born to care for others – she has such a huge heart and was greatly loved by the individuals living at Mallard Court Care Home.

“She was an inspiration to her colleagues and we will all miss her. We wish her all the best!”
