A brand-new co-working space has opened in the heart of Whitby this December, offering local freelancers, remote workers, and small business owners a flexible and inspiring place to work, connect, and collaborate.

Cowork Whitby officially opened its doors on Monday, December 1, introducing a modern workspace designed to suit the growing number of people working remotely or independently along the Yorkshire coast.

The bright, thoughtfully designed space features superfast wi-fi, spacious desks, ergonomic office chairs, a comfy corner and lunch area, along with a compact kitchen and outdoor terrace for a breath of fresh air between meetings.

Memberships include unlimited access to high-speed internet, Nespresso coffee and hot drinks, and a range of flexible options, from day passes and monthly memberships to dedicated desk rentals for those seeking a regular workspace.

Cowork Whitby will also foster community and creativity with monthly brunches, pizza nights, and other social meet-ups designed to help members connect in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Founder Jaclyn Goddard said: “Cowork Whitby was created to bring people together; whether you’re a freelancer needing focus, a business owner looking to grow your network, or simply someone who prefers company while they work. It’s about community, flexibility, and creating a space that works for you.”
