Pickering farm shop team members celebrate 10 year anniversaries
Two team members at Cedarbarn farm shop and café are celebrating 10 years working at the popular family-owned business.
Head butcher, Patrick Donaghy and ‘Man Friday’ Michael Kipling both joined the Pickering business in 2015 and have seen many changes over the last decade.
Mr Donaghy headed up the expansion of the in-house butchery in 2018, and witnessed the upsurge of home delivery orders during the Covid-19 pandemic. Mr Kipling, who joined Cedarbarn to work in the shop, has worked in most departments, helping out whenever needed, and has found his niche working with his hands in the outdoor team.
Cedarbarn co-founder, Mandy Avison, said: “We are blessed with an amazing team of 51 people who are all fundamental to our success. We are very grateful for the contribution Patrick and Michael have made to ensuring customers have a memorable visit to Cedarbarn.”
When he’s not working, Mr Donaghy enjoys walking, and Mr Kipling enjoys cricket, football, pool and darts.
