Talbot Hotel jobs saved after agreement with The Coaching Inn Group

More than 40 jobs have been saved following news that Malton’s ‘prestigious Talbot Hotel has a new operator.. Photo by Richard Ponter

The owners of the 26 bedroom 18th century coaching inn overlooking the River Derwent, The Fitzwilliam Estate, said it had reached agreement with special hotel operator The Coaching Inn Group to run the Talbot.

A spokesman said the new operators would be re-opening the hotel within the next seven days.
