Too Good To Go app’s free admin fee opportunity for North Yorkshire businesses
Circular Yorkshire Month aims to bring together partners from across Yorkshire to accelerate the region’s transformation towards a circular economy.
The Too Good To Go app lets people rescue surplus food from restaurants, retailers and producers to stop it from going to waste.

Co-founder Jamie Crummie will also be a guest speaker at the annual York and North Yorkshire LEP Conference on Friday, November 6 to talk about the steps food businesses can take towards a greener future.
A York and North Yorkshire LEP spokesman said: “Given food and hospitality are such key sectors in our region, we recognise that waste from food is a big issue to tackle.
“Partnering with Too Good To Go, we can take a positive step to address this.”

More than 300 food businesses from Yorkshire and The Humber are already live on the Too Good To Go app. Together with local Too Good To Go users, they have saved more than 115,000 meals from going to waste.
This has prevented 287,500 kg of CO2e from being emitted, or the same as that emitted from 323 flights from London to New York.
On partnering with Too Good To Go, Paul Potts, Malton local and owner of Food 2 Remember, said: “We really loved how simple the concept was.

“It brings new customers; people who come in for a Magic Bag return as full price customers, it allows me to waste less as a business and my food is actually being eaten and enjoyed by people rather than rotting in a bin!”
