Bob Taylor wins Bridlington Ambassador ‘Harbour Hero Award’
A popular Bridlington volunteer scooped the ‘Harbour Hero’ accolade at the inaugural Bridlington Ambassador (BA) Awards.
Bob Taylor was presented the BA ‘Harbour Hero Award’ thanks to his contribution to the improvements/success within the Bridlington harbour community.

Bob was nominated by the Bridlington RNLI chair Lynn Shaw.
He was lauded, not only for his work in many roles with the RNLI, but for his services to the Bridlington Sea Cadets, his deep connection with the Bridlington Harbour, and the countless hours as Father Christmas each year – raising money for local charities.
Lynn said: “Bob represents everything a Harbour Hero should be, dedicated, generous, community minded and endlessly giving of his time and talents.
“Bridlington is a stronger, kinder and safer place thanks to him.”
