A spokesperson said: “The income, from the sale long ago of the old almshouses in Barmston, is available to help local people in need.
“There are no deadlines for the fund, and you can apply for between £50 to £100.
“There is a simple application form to fill in, which may be obtained by emailing Judith McKelvey on [email protected] or by telephoning 01482 871077.
“Judith can also be contacted if you need any help in completing your application.”
