The organisers, Team Potty, invited applications for funding from any local clubs or groups that operate within the Flamborough community.

The organisations were given until the end of August to make their applications, and at a committee meeting on Tuesday, September 2, Team Potty agreed to award six groups with amounts from £350 to £100.

These groups were Flamborough First Brownies, Flamborough Bowls Club, Flamborough Village Hall, Friends of Flamborough School, Flamborough School Little Sprouts Gardening Group, and Flamborough Flippers Sea Swimming Group.

A spokesperson said: “Flamborough Flowerpot Festival will return in June 2026 and we hope to have more residents making pot-based models.

“A Potty Family Fun Quiz Night is planned for Friday, November 21 to kick off fundraising to support the planned free craft potty workshops in the new year.

"More information will be posted on the event’s Facebook page and social media sites (search for Flamborough Flowerpot Festival).

"Our Potty Models are now enjoying a rest in garages and sheds.

"However, we need extra storage space, so if you think you can offer barn, shed or garage space to our well behaved models in Flamborough then please contact us at [email protected].”
