A total of 42% of pupils achieved high grades (7-9) with a 92% pass rate.

Fyling Hall’s Headmaster, Steven Allen, said: “We are pleased that results day is here after a week of much uncertainty.

Fyling Hall’s Deputy Head, Academic, Dr Ian Richardson added: “We are confident that what they achieved today is what they would have achieved had pupils sat their exams.

"We commend all on their approach.

"Throughout lockdown, our pupils showed maturity and dedication to their learning.

"Pupils should take great pride in their achievements in spite of the challenging circumstances.”
