Headlands School students perform at Bridlington Spa after forming a band
A group of Headlands School students are hitting the high notes after forming a band.
The Stained Glass Eyes consists of four students: Alex (lead guitar and vocals); Harley (drums); Tom (bass guitar) and James (rhythm guitar).

The band recently wowed the audience at Bridlington Spa with a rock performance, including their self-penned song “Somebody Save Me”.
A spokesperson for the band said: “They are great friends and all respect and support each, and just love performing.

“They are performing in the school’s production of Beauty and the Beast.
“They are hoping for more offers to perform locally and are currently in the process of recording their first EP.
“The band has had great support from the school, with music and singing lessons and general encouragement.
“Alan Raw, co-founder of BBC introducing, said he was ‘blown away by their musicianship, passion, and vocals’.
"He said ‘Alex not only performed well, with skill and heart, but he also conducted himself very well. They were also very professional in the backstage area, before and after going on. Exactly the behaviour that helps you get on in the real music industry’.
"The band’s socials now have a teaser video, taken with a phone.”
