Scarborough's Barrowcliff School forced to close due to heating failure

Pupils at Barrowcliff School are being sent home after the school confirmed it had no heating and had closed.

The school is asking parents who have already dropped their children off at school to come and collect them as soon as possible.

The school apologised for any inconvenience caused.
