Last weekend photos of queues and crowds of people along the Yorkshire Coast during the coronavirus outbreak drew ire from the authorities.

All quiet on the Foreshore.

However, this weekend the view couldn't have been more different after a Government imposed lockdown to reduce transmission of Covid-19 came into effect last Monday. These 14 photos show deserted scenes on the Foreshore, Sandside and North Bay as people stayed at home to protect the NHS.
