Covid-19 testing available in Scarborough borough, as figures show smallest rise in cases in 10 days
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The new case brings the borough’s total since the start of the pandemic to 652.
The data includes tests carried out in hospitals and also Pillar 2 tests, which is anyone tested at one of the mobile sites in the borough or sent a test to take at home.

Hide AdThe single case means that Scarborough borough’s seven-day infection rate has decreased to 3.1 from 4.6 yesterday.


Meanwhile, the mobile coronavirus testing service will be back in Scarborough and Whitby again this week for anyone showing symptoms to get tested.
The drive-through facility is at the Seamer Road park and ride site in Scarborough today
Tomorrow it will be at Whitby’s park and ride facility in Guisborough Road.

Hide AdIt is being organised by the Department of Health and Social Care which has warned people to not just turn up but make an appointment first.
There are two ways to do this depending on which testing group you are part of.
Anyone who is showing coronavirus symptoms should register for a test on the NHS website at www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
People who do not have access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, can ring the 119 service to book.
Key workers and members of their household should register for a test on the government website.
