The mobile testing unit was in Scarborough for the first time last Monday at the park and ride on Seamer Road. It was there yesterday, and is again there today.

The drive-through sites, run by the military, allow people who had registered online to be checked for the virus.

Tests have been available for key workers and those prioritised by the Government.

Those eligible for a test are asked to register for on the Government website:

Last week the Government announced that as well as key workers, it would be making tests available to anyone over 65 with symptoms, anyone with symptoms whose work cannot be done from home, and anyone who has symptoms of coronavirus and lives with any of those identified above.
