Scarborough borough coronavirus infection rate falls below 100
Scarborough’s coronavirus infection rate has fallen to its lowest level for more than three months.
The borough’s seven day infection rate per 100,000 people has fallen below 100 to 98, down from 103 yesterday.
It is the lowest level seen in the borough since October 19.
The average rate for England is 243 while in North Yorkshire it is now 153.
Since the weekend, three more people have died in the borough within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 186.
Over the weekend, mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week.

William Street Coach Park in Scarborough is still offering testing seven days a week from 8am until 8pm.
