Scarborough borough's coronavirus infection rate drops below national and North Yorkshire average

The borough’s rate per 100,000 people now stands at 16, which is the third lowest rate behind Ryedale and Richmondshire.
Last week, the borough had the highest rate out of the seven districts when its total shot up to 26.

Hide AdScarborough’s rate has dropped back below the averages for North Yorkshire and England which stand at 23 and 44 respectively.
Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
