Scarborough borough's coronavirus infection rate falls slightly after steady climb

The borough’s infection rate per 100,000 now stands at 24.
It continues to be below the average for England which stands at 34, but is now above the North Yorkshire rate of 17.
It means the borough is now averaging 24 new cases a week.
Neighbouring Ryedale district continues to have zero Covid cases.

Hide AdMobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
