I would like to nominate my friend Beth Taylor. She is a social worker for North Yorkshire County Council and is out in the community. She works with people with learning difficulties who struggle to understand social distancing and has no PPE but just cracks on and carries on doing her job. Im proud of her."
I would like to nominate Mr Justin Mhaka, popularly known as the singer and entertainer Bongoman. Hes an NHS doctor on the frontline at Scarborough Hospital who has been livestreaming shows from h is living room to raise money for protective equipment.
I would like to nominate carer Laura Trigg. She has a family of five, works twelve hour shifts and has been offering to make up bundles for the elderly and vulnerable and distribute them. She is such a genuine person, thanks could not be said enough for the things she does to help and please others. She is a wonderwoman.
I would like to nominate my sister, Tracey Kipling, who works on reception at Saint Catherines hospice in Scarborough. It is also her birthday today (Thursday April 16).
