Images have been released of how Scarborough Hospital will look when a planned £40 million transformation is completed.

In 2018 York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust announced it had been successful in its bid for the funding from the Government to create a Combined Emergency Assessment Unit on the site.

A total of £22 million is to be used to create the unit, which would see surgeons and the medical staff working together at the front door of the emergency unit.
