Behind the scenes at Sledmere House as staff keep site going

As lockdown continues and the lifting of restrictions slowly begins, staff at a historic house continue to take care of its surroundings.

Work goes on behind the scenes at Sledmere House and Gardens, the Grade I-listed Georgian country house in the East Riding, and set in grounds which were designed by Capability Brown. Gardeners have been tending to flowers and other staff have looking after the animals. The house and gardens are currently closed to visitors as part of the Covid-19 lockdown.
