WATCH: Scarborough's historic water chute in action

It may not be Disney’s log flume ride – but this brings back childhood memories of Scarborough – a ride on the historic water chute in Northstead Manor Gardens near the miniature railway.

Listed as one of the top 10 Vintage Seaside Attractions by The Guardian the historic chute is now operated by the North Bay Railway Company.

It is one of only three left in the country, the others being the original one in Wicksteed Park, Kettering and Hull’s East Park.
