Festive family attractions and bouncing kangaroos as Scarborough Christmas Market takes over town centre

It was the latest market and street theatre performance to transform the high street with a number of events for residents and shoppers throughout December.

'Bouncing weekend' saw Roo'd at Christmas – bouncing kangaroos from Australia, confused by the cold – and elves getting into all sorts of mischief.

There were also activities for children and Christmas craft and circus skills workshops alongside market stalls.
