Florios on Aberdeen Walk is a favourite with many residents and has been closed for over a month since the coronavirus pandemic meant all pubs, bars and restaurants had to shut.

However, after careful planning to ensure the safety of staff and customers, the Italian restaurant is now reopening to serve its food to takeaway.

From this Friday May 1, the service will be available from 5pm-9pm every day apart from Tuesdays and orders can be made from 3pm each day over the phone.

Staff are asking customers to pay by card over the phone wherever possible to limit close interaction. Payment can be made in person but those paying with cash should bring the correct amount as change will not be given.

Upon arrival at the restaurant there will be hand sanitiser to use before entering the premises and only one person should collect each order wherever possible to avoid overcrowding.

A 2m guide line will be in place inside the buliding with a one-way system to enter and exit.

The takeaway menu can be viewed online here.
