After almost four months of closure, many Scarborough businesses opened up again on Saturday, with a brisk trade from residents and visitors.

While some pubs stayed closed, others took advantage of the easing of the coronavirus lockdown to open, with social distancing and safety measures in place. It was the same story for cafes, hotels, B&Bs, restaurants, hair salons, barbers and other businesses, all desperate to make up for lost time and takings.
