Body found in the sea near Flamborough Head

Police have confirmed that a body has been recovered.

North Yorkshire Police Marine Unit has reported the discovery of a woman's body following a two-day search at Cattlemere Hole, Flamborough Head.

Bridlington and Filey Coastguard, Flamborough and Bridlington RNLI and aircraft from HM Coastguard and the police were all involved in the search.

The body was recovered yesterday at around 2pm.
