Breakfast cereal recalled over rubber risk
A company have recalled packs of cereal due to fears it may contain pieces of rubber.
Weetabix Food Company is recalling packs of Oatibix Flakes because the product may contain pieces of blue soft rubber
The Oatibix Flakes batches subject to the recall notice are all 550g size packs, with:
‘Best before’ date: 18 January 2017 with batch code: 6018
‘Best before’ date: 19 January 2017 with batch code: 6019
‘Best before’ date: 20 January 2017 with batch code: 6020
‘Best before’ date: 21 January 2017 with batch code: 6021
No other Oatibix batches or products are known to be affected. The company is advising consumers who have already bought a pack from these batch numbers to dispose of the product.
