Breaking news: Murder investigation continues - our photographer shows forensics and police at the scene

Officers investigating the murder of a woman at a hotel say they need to locate a man in connection with the incident.

John HEALD, 53, from South Yorkshire, is believed to have been staying at the hotel but has since left and police want to talk to him as a matter of urgency.

Humberside Police received the call shortly before midnight on Friday 18 July to the Morayland Hotel, Marshall Avenue, in Bridlington.

A woman had been found with critical injuries at the address and was believed to be dead.

Police officers and the ambulance service attended immediately and the woman was confirmed deceased.
