BREAKING: Serious crash at Carnaby

A driver has been taken to hospital with potentially "life-changing injuries" after a serious crash at Carnaby.

A man has been taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries

Police were called by the ambulance service at 7.30am today after a head-on collision between an orange Iveco Ford box van and silver Ford Puma.

A black Suzuki Alto and blue Peugeot 406 were also involved in the incident at the A614 at Carnaby.

Road closures are in place at the junction of the A614 at Carnaby with Bridlington Bay Road at the roundabout, at Hairsthorpe Crossroads and Station Road at Burton Agnes.

The police helicopter has been deployed as part of the investigation into what caused the accident, and HGVs are being diverted away from the area prior to Burton Agnes.
