Canadian family's search for long lost relatives

My father-in-law Gordon McLeod Murray was in the Second World War, while on leave in England he visited relations, I have some pictures of them but no last name, I think they are Barkers or Wards.
Do you know this family?Do you know this family?

There is his Aunt Sarah, her daughter Irene, who was in the ACI. I think the men are Aunt Sarah’s sons as they are all brothers - Sid, Aubrey and Ken.

We have lost touch with these cousins and no one is alive to tell us who they are, the only information I can go by is what is on the back of the photographs taken August 17, 1943.

I hope your readers can help and maybe we can find them. This may help, there is a census with family (Barkers) from Muston and Gristhorpe and areas Wombleton, Littlebeck and Filey in the family so I am thinking they may have been from there.

We are planning a trip to the UK next August and would love to find these relations. I am researching all the places our relatives came from so we can see where they lived before coming to Canada.

I also just found out that my great great great grandmother was a ‘Home Child’.

If anyone has any information, I would be grateful if you could contact me on my email at [email protected].
