Car completely destroyed by fire at Lockton, near Pickering

A car was completely destroyed by a fire near Pickering yesterday.

The fire service were called out to a car fire at Lockton.

Firefighters from Pickering and Goathland were called to put out the diesel car on the A169 at Lockton at 2.38pm.

The fire service said the blaze is thought to have been caused by an engine fault.
