Car parked on Flamborough beach towed clear after water comes up to bonnet

A car parked on the beach at Flamborough had to be saved from the rising tide yesterday.

The team from Flamborough RNLI used their tractor to tow the vehicle at South Landing clear of the water - which had reached the bonnet - at 6.48pm.

The lifeboat and volunteer crew returned to the station at 7.20pm.
