Child seriously hurt after crash involving bus on Yorkshire Coast

The youngster was riding a bike on Quay Road in Bridlington at 1.10pm when the accident happened.

An ambulance was called and the child was taken to hospital. Police said the youngster's injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Roads in the area were closed to allow investigations to be undertaken.

Anyone who has information about the accident but has not yet spoken to police should call them on 101, quoting log 238 of March 30.
