Children trapped in bathroom are rescued by firefighters

Firefighters freed two children stuck in a bathroom.

The crew were called to Fletton Road in Norton at 12.30pm on Friday to help the pair.

They managed to get inside through a bathroom window and released the children.

Also on Friday, firefighters were called to put out a fire at a Scarborough building site which they believe was started by youths.

The team were deployed to the site at Gouldings Close, Eastfield, at 6.24pm and used a knapsack sprayer to put the fire out.
