Coastguard warns high winds and rough tides could make coast 'extremely dangerous'
Scarborough & Burniston and Whitby Coastguards have issued a warning to the public over rough seas and high tides in the coming days.
The warning states: "Rough seas and high tides are expected to coincide over the next few days.
"This will make promenades, harbours and lower coastal paths extremely dangerous due to the powerful northerly wave action and flying debris."

Whitby - 5.22pm
Scarborough - 5.34am and 5.49pm
