Community event was a great success
On behalf of St Cecilia's I would like to praise the organisers of Sunday's Memory Walk in aid of dementia.
St Cecilia’s sponsored the event and staff from the group joined dozens of other people on the 3km walk around Peasholm Park, organised by Scarborough Dementia Action Alliance.
The event was a huge success and it was great to see so many people turn out to support it.
The walk was a wonderful idea and brought lots of people from in and around Scarborough together to raise funds to support people with dementia and their families, and to raise awareness of dementia.
