Did you dream of being a train driver when you were a youngster? Maybe your dream could come true.

The foreshores team in Bridlington is looking to recruit new members of staff and the job includes driving the land trains along the seafront.

Foreshores manager Kirsty Dingle said: “It’s a really enjoyable and varied job within a fun team who pride themselves on providing excellent customer service.”

The closing date is this Sunday. Drivers must hold a C1+E category licence.

The land trains serve the north and south side of Bridlington

The attendants will initially be responsible for selling deckchairs and chalets, enforcing bylaws but those who hold the right licence could also eb asked to drive the land train over lunch breaks and could do it more regularly long-term.

“The job is seasonal and successful candidates will be employed from May until the end of September with the possibility of this being an annual seasonal position for the right candidates,” said Kirsty.
