Volunteers at Bridlington Lifeboat Station have thanked a Harrogate-based company for its tea-mendous donation.
Yorkshire Tea has donated four huge catering-sized packs to the RNLI crew, which will bring welcome warmth to the volunteers as they come back from their regular exercises and emergency callouts.
A spokesperson for the Bridlington RNLI crew said: “By ‘eck, there’s nowt like a hot steaming brew of tea to warm up our volunteers at Bridlington RNLI, on a cold winter’s evening after exercise.
“Thank you Yorkshire Tea for this enormous donation of tea bags, just champion that!”
Ross Marchant, from Taylors of Harrogate, said: “We are proud to fill up the kitchen cupboards of Bridlington RNLI so there are proper brews ready and waiting for their amazing crew.”
