17th Century Shepherd Boy statue stolen in Pickering burglary

Police are appealing for information about the theft of a statue, more than 300 years old, in an outbuilding burglary in Pickering.

It happened between December 2024 and March 4 2025 when the incident was first reported to the police.

The stolen statue, which was created by the sculptor John Nost, dates back to the late 17th Century and is described as the Shepherd Boy.
