Officers have had reports of vehicles being used in an anti-social manner in the village, particularly around Westgate and Broadmires Lane.
Police say they have the power to seize vehicles being used to cause alarm, distress or annoyance.
The owner of a seized vehicle can claim it later but will be liable for recovery and storage costs.
Anyone with concerns about yob driving should call police via 101.
Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
