Officers from North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after sheds were damaged in Pickering and pigeons disturbed.

The incident happened between 5pm on Sunday November 3 and 7am on Monday November 4 at sheds located near to the A169 near Whitby Road.

Multiple sheds were damaged and it is believed rocks were used to smash the shed locks.

During the incident pigeons were disturbed and one escaped.

The missing bird will have a red ring around its right foot with an ID tag.
