Busy week of arrests for Bridlington Patrol Team 3 police officers
It’s been a busy week for Humberside Police’s Bridlington Patrol Team 3 in national response policing week.
The week started early with officers from the patrol team turning out half an hour before the start of their shift to a report of a single vehicle collision.

On arrival it turned out the vehicle had been reportedly taken without the owner’s consent and the driver appeared unfit to drive through drugs.
He was arrested and has since been bailed for his blood samples to be analysed.
The next day officers attended a report of shop theft in the town centre.
They located the offender and arrested her for the theft and for failing to attend court for a previous incident.
Officers also arrested a man in relation to alleged sexual offences.
A spot of proactive work resulted in a positive stop and search where cannabis was located, the subject has already been issued a conditional caution to engage with the local substance misuse provider.
Another report of a road traffic collision resulted in another driver being arrested, this time for driving over the prescribed limit for alcohol.
On top of this, officers have attended training with officers from other teams in public order tactics, better equiping the team to respond to the variety of incidents they are called to.
The week ended with a wanted female being located and arrested for a series of shop thefts.
She will be handed over to the prisoner processing team to be interviewed.
The team added: “This is just a snippet of the varied week the team have had.
"Now it’s time for some well deserved days off, safe in the knowledge teams 1, 2 and 4 will be keeping the town safe for the rest of the week.”
