Collision between car and pedestrian near Morrisons in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a minor collision in Eastfield.

It happened at 2.25pm on Tuesday January 21 2020 outside Morrisons on Dunslow Road and involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian.

The Corsa is believed to have collided with the pedestrian before leaving the scene. The pedestrian has suffered bruising and attended Scarborough Hospital but has since been discharged.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.

In particular, we are appealing for information from members of the public who have witnessed the incident and obtained the registration number of the vehicle.
