Court date set for man who was on rooftop in Franklin Street, Scarborough

A man arrested after climbing on to a rooftop in Scarborough has been charged with causing a public nuisance.

A police negotiator was called and a cordon was put in place for several hours while he was on the roof at Franklin Street last month.

The 35-year-old is due to appear before Scarborough Magistrates' Court on January 11.
