Driver and passenger arrested in Bridlington on suspicion of intent to supply drugs
A man and woman have been arrested in Bridlington after police were alerted to a vehicle believed to be involved in criminality being in the town centre on Thursday, March 19.
A swift response led to officers locating the vehicle and the occupants, who were detained for a search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

The search of the vehicle uncovered a quantity of suspected class A drugs inside the vehicle, and the driver, a 32-year-old woman, and passenger, a 38-year-old man were subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
A roadside drugs swipe was conducted, and the woman was also arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
Both the man and woman were interviewed and have now been released on bail whilst officers from Bridlington's Criminal Investigation Department continue extensive enquiries.
