A police spokesperson, via Facebook, said: “Daily activity undertaken by our Kinetic Intervention Team include execution of rapid entry warrants, locating and arresting suspects, and searching locations, vehicles, and premises for evidence.

“In addition to this, they also coordinate searches to locate high risk missing people, provide support at public events, football matches and protests and ensure they have high visibility patrols in hot spot crime areas.

“The team includes very highly trained officers with a specialist skill set, including method of entry, Taser, Police Support Unit (PSU) and licensed search officers.

“Whilst you may not always see immediate action, warrants like this are a way for the teams to disrupt those looking to commit drug related, and other crimes, in our area, and we would always encourage you to report any offences, concerns, or information to us when you see us out and about, so we can build the bigger picture around offending in your area and take appropriate action

“You can also report information via our non-emergency number 101 or always call 999 in an emergency.”
