Eastfield home has lit firework pushed through its letterbox - police investigating
Police are investigating after a lit firework was pushed through the letterbox of a property in Eastfield last night.

Scarborough firefighters were called out at 6.08pm.
The fire was out on arrival, and firefighters carried out an inspection of the premises.
The incident is being investigated by police.
Later, at 8.30pm, firefighters dealt with a small rubbish fire in the open, off Burniston Road.
The crew allowed the fire to burn out under supervision.
It is believed to have been started deliberately by youths.
