Man, 18, arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers in Bridlington

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting two police officers in Bridlington in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called at 1.40am to a report of a disturbance involving a group of people near the junction with Quay Road and Station Approach.

An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray and two counts of assaulting a police officer.
