Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an incident in Malton.
Officers say that a man was injured after being shot by an air weapon with air pellets in Malton.
He suffered head injuries that required medical treatment.
The incident happened between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Saturday February 29 at Wentworth Street car park.
