Man who jumped out of car to punch victim in the face in Scarborough sought by police

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Scarborough.

The man was walking along Prospect Road when the passenger of a midnight-grey Vauxhall Corsa leapt out the car and punched him in the face, which bruised his right cheek.

The assault happened at about 6.30pm on March 22.

The suspect is described as a 6ft tall man, with a large, muscular build. He had strawberry-blonde hair styled in a medium-length perm and had a bushy beard of the same colour.
