North Yorkshire Police appeal for witnesses after serious accident near Rosedale Abbey

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information after a serious single car collision which occurred around 1pm on Saturday 2 May 2020

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident near Rosedale Abbey.

The collision took place on Knott Road, north of Rosedale Abbey in the North Yorkshire Moors, and involved a blue Audi A3.

One of the vehicle’s occupants, a 21-year-old man from Middlesbrough, was taken to James Cook Hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.

Two other occupants of the vehicle were arrested and released under investigation.
